The dictionary definition is the furry fandom is a subculture interested in fictional anthropomorphic animal characters with human personalities and characteristics. Examples of anthropomorphic attributes include exhibiting human intelligence and facial expressions, the ability to speak, walk on two legs, and wear clothes.

Many furries don't fursuits shown above.Many just enjoy the subculture and love to draw the characters. But the 1 who do can spend upwards of a few thousand dollars! They just don't walk around in fursuits , their are conferences like antrocon and furcon. Also they go to charity events and special events. They have given 10 million dollars to cancer research.
